What You Need to Connect

Part 1: Generate an App Store Connect API Key

Log in to App Store Connect

Open App Store Connect and make sure you are logged in as an Account Holder or Admin.

Open API Keys Settings

  1. Click on Users and Access at the top.
  2. Click on the Integrations tab (or Keys tab).
  3. Under Key Type, select App Store Connect API.

Generate New Key

  1. Click the + button (or Generate API Key).
  2. In Name, enter: Indic8 Financial Sync.
  3. In Access, select Finance (or Sales and Reports).
  4. Click Generate.

Download Private Key & Copy IDs

  1. Click Download API Key next to your new key. A file named AuthKey_XXXXXXXXXX.p8 will download. (You can only download this file once).
  2. Copy the Key ID column (10 characters, e.g. 2X9R4HXF3A).
  3. At the top of the page, copy your Issuer ID (UUID format, e.g. 57246542-96fe-1a63-e053-0824d011072a).

Part 2: Find your Apple Vendor Number

  1. In App Store Connect, click Sales and Trends (or Reports).
  2. Look at the top left dropdown selector near your account name.
  3. You will see an 8-digit number starting with 8 (for example, 85123456). This is your Vendor Number.

Part 3: Connect inside Indic8

  1. Open your Indic8 Dashboard and go to Settings > Integrations > Apple App Store.
  2. Upload or paste your AuthKey_XXXXXXXXXX.p8 private key file.
  3. Enter your Key ID and Issuer ID.
  4. Enter your 8-digit Vendor Number.
  5. Click Connect Apple App Store.
Indic8 will verify your credentials and download historical sales and auto-renewable subscription telemetry.

Part 4: Real-Time Server Notifications v2 (Optional)

To receive instant trial conversions and renewal alerts:
  1. In App Store Connect, go to My Apps > [Your App] > App Information.
  2. Scroll down to App Store Server Notifications.
  3. In Production Server URL, paste your Indic8 Apple Webhook URL from Settings > Integrations > Apple.
  4. Set Version to Version 2 Notifications.
  5. Click Save.
